I would recommend anyone to have her or his dental at NW1 Dental Care
Mr Eric L
Do you want to straighten your teeth to improve your smile but want to avoid traditional metal wired braces? If yes, then six-month smile braces treatment is what you need. At NW1 Dental Care, we are pleased to offer six-month smile treatment in Camden and London for patients who want straighter teeth to achieve a more attractive smile and build confidence in 6 months. We offer a free consultation with our cosmetic dentists who are certified six-month smile dentists to discuss your treatment needs and access if you are suitable for this treatment.
The treatment involves using the latest techniques to align the teeth comfortably and quickly in around six months – hence the name. It is a new discrete braces system where we use tooth-coloured brackets and wires which are practically impossible to spot to move your teeth into the desired position. The procedure is highly effective and provides incredible results faster compared to other comprehensive full mouth orthodontic treatments.
Six Month Smiles can be used to treat a wide variety of orthodontic issues including:
Step 1 – Initial Consultation : Your dentist will listen to your concerns, conduct a full dental examination, take photographs and x-ray to determine and discuss if you are suitable for 6-month smile or will benefit from some other orthodontic treatment.
Step 2 – Digital Scan: If you are a suitable candidate then the dentist will take a digital scan of teeth which will be sent to the lab to prepare custom made trays for you
Step 3 – Fit Appointment: Once your braces are ready, the dentist will fit the customised tray in your next appointment. The dentist will also provide some guidance and tips on the effectiveness of treatment and maintaining dental health during treatment time
Step 4 – Review Appointments: You will need to visit your dentist about once a month for a checkup where we will evaluate the progress and make necessary adjustments to your brace to ensure the teeth keep moving into the desired positions
Step 5 – Final Appointment: When the treatment is complete, your braces will be removed and you will be recommended to wear a retainer just like in any other orthodontic treatments to make sure that teeth stay in the new position
Six month smile is a cheaper procedure than conventional braces and the treatment will vary a little from patient to patient. The cost of treatment at NW1 Dental Care is at a very competitive price compared to other dental clinics in London or UK. We offer FREE consultations in our dental practice in London where the dentist can access your condition and provide you with the exact cost of treatment and payment options available.
“I can’t rate this dental practice highly enough. I had the Six Month Smiles treatment and couldn’t be happier with the result! The staff are so friendly and professional and made me feel very welcome. Thanks all.”
The traditional braces straighten your teeth by applying brackets onto the surface of your teeth. Flexible wires are then placed through these brackets. Light forces are put on the wires and this is what helps your teeth to straighten.
Six Month Smiles uses clear brackets and tooth coloured wires. This is what provides the almost invisible appearance of your orthodontic system.
Monthly appointments are required for your dentist to adjust these light forces, which ensure your teeth continue to straighten over your treatment period.
Six month smile braces can take between 4-9 months, but on average are completed within six months.

Yes. Your teeth normally try to move back to pre-treatment position after the treatment period and so a retainer is recommended to prevent this from happening just like in any orthodontic treatment
Possibly, your speech will get affected during the first week as you get used to your new braces, but it should soon return to normal.
Most patients do not feel any pain during the treatment. There might be some slight discomfort at the starting as you get used to braces fitting in your mouth. However, as the braces work by moving teeth gently and with little force, it makes the entire process very comfortable.
